However, still every day you crave to have something new at Iftar as you get bored of eating the regular frozen items. Even if you want to throw an Iftar party you would want to make quick, instant recipes that don’t take much energy and time. Fret not!

Pizza Parcels

Pizza Parcels is a unique twist of Pizza and buns filled with delicious mince filling. Trust us you have to try this recipe. These small parcels are like flavor bombs.

Steps

  1. In a bowl add flour, yeast, salt, sugar, and oil, and mix well. Add water and knead a soft dough. Cover it with cling and let it rest near a warm place for 15-20 minutes or double in size.
  2. Heat oil on a pan and add chicken mince. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until it changes color.
  3. Now add salt, black pepper powder, soy sauce, chili sauce, and red chili flakes and mix well and cook for 3-4 mins. Now add capsicum, onion, sweet corn, olives, and mushrooms, and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Now add pizza sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes. Take off the flame and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Take the dough and cut it into 2 halves. Take one dough and roll it down into a flat rectangle shape.
  6. Spread pizza sauce, prepared chicken mixture, cheese, red chili flakes, oregano, and cover with the sides by giving it a log shape. Now cut into equal parts making them into parcels.
  7. Place the parcels on the baking tray, do the egg brush, sprinkle cheese, oregano, red chili flakes, and olives, and bake it at 200 degrees for about 10-15 minutes or until golden in color.
  8. Serve hot with Ketchup.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

This is an incredibly cheesy sandwich that is going to be your favorite meal this Ramadan. The delicious green sauce compliments the chicken mixture, leaving your tastebuds in awe. It is an easy fix to your cravings and can be made easily in less time.

Steps

  1. In a blender add coriander, mint leaves, green chilies, and water and blend into a paste.
  2. In a bowl add mayonnaise, yogurt, green paste, garlic, and salt and mix well. Your green sauce is ready. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl add boiled chicken, capsicum, carrot, green sauce, and olives, and mix well. Your chicken mixture is ready.
  4. Take bread slices, spread chicken mixture on them, add cheddar cheese, sprinkle black pepper on it, and cover with another bread slice.
  5. On a grill pan, brush butter and place the prepared sandwich.
  6. Grill each side for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown in color.
  7. Your Grilled Cheesy Sandwich is ready to serve!

Steps

  1. In a blender jug, add crushed ice, pineapple juice, water, lemon juice, salt, black pepper powder er, and sugar, blend well and set aside.
  2. Use a melon baller to scoop out the flesh of the watermelon, honeydew, and melon.
  3. In a pitcher, add melon balls, watermelon balls, honeydew melon balls, prepared juice, 7up, mint leaves, stir and serve!

Street Style Dahi Bhallay

This mouthwatering easy street style Dahi Bhalla recipe is a MUST for your Iftar table. After a long day of fast, these light Dahi Bhalla are going to change your mood. It is not wrong when we say good food can change your whole mood. Follow this easy recipe to make street-style Dahi Bhalla at home.

Steps

  1. In a bowl, add Dahi bara mix, warm water & whisk well, cover & let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a wok, heat cooking oil and pour the batter with the help of a small ladle, and fry on medium flame until golden brown.
  3. After frying, let them cool down for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, add lukewarm water, fried baray and let them soak for 8-10 minutes then take out from the water and squeeze gently to remove excess water & set aside.
  5. In a saucepan, add cornflour, water & whisk well.
  6. Turn on the flame and cook on low flame until it becomes transparent & thickens and whisk continuously.
  7. Let it cool completely.
  8. In a bowl, add yogurt, sugar, and dissolved cornflour mixture & whisk well.
  9. Refrigerate until use.

Imli ki Meethi Chutney

  1. In a saucepan, add jaggery, tamarind pulp, water, mix well & bring it to a boil.
  2. Remove scum and add red chili powder, salt, black salt, carom seeds, ginger powder, orange food color & mix well.
  3. In corn flour, add water and whisk well.
  4. Now add dissolved cornflour, mix well and cook on medium until thickens (2-3 minutes).
  5. Let it cool.
  6. Store in a clean & sterilized jar.

Spicy Hari Chutney

  1. In a blender, add fresh coriander, mint leaves, green chilies, onion, garlic, water & blend well.
  2. In a pot, add cooking oil, and green paste, mix well & bring it to a boil.
  3. Add salt, cumin seeds, citric acid, lemon juice, mix well & cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. In corn flour, add water and whisk well.
  5. Now add dissolved cornflour, mix well and cook on medium until thickens (2-3 minutes).
  6. Let it cool.

Assembling

In a serving dish, add prepared baray, sprinkle chaat masala, add prepared yogurt, boiled potato, tomato, cucumber, onion, spicy Hari chutney,imli ki meethi chutney, green chili, prepared yogurt, sprinkle chaat masala, red chili crushed, spicy Hari chutney,imli ki meethi chutney, papri, fresh coriander and serve! On a serving plate, add prepared baray & break them. Add prepared yogurt, sprinkle chaat masala, add tomato, boiled potato, cucumber, onion, green chili, spicy Hari chutney, imli ki meethi chutney, prepared yogurt, sprinkle red chili crushed, chaat masala, papri, and serve!

Crispy Eggplant Fries

This recipe is a unique variation to your regular Baingan Pakoras. This Ramadan try making these eggplant fries in a flower shape to add variation to your Iftar table. Eggplant would have never tasted this better before. You can either deep fry/air fry or bake these fries.

Steps

  1. In a bowl,add red chilli powder,salt,cumin powder,garlic powder,chaat masala,mix well & set aside.
  2. In a chopper, add kurkure chips & chop well.
  3. In a dish, add eggs & whisk well.
  4. In another dish, add all-purpose flour, rice flour, dried parsley, salt, chopped kurkure & mix well to combine.
  5. Cut eggplant tip & peel it (don’t remove the head)
  6. Cut eggplant (longitudinally) into thin strips.
  7. Spread eggplant strips on a clean working surface and sprinkle prepared seasoning over it.
  8. Now dip into whisked eggs then coat well with coating.
  9. Drizzle mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, sprinkle fresh coriander, red chili & serve!

Mint Margarita

After such a hot, long day you crave a refreshing drink to beat the thirst. What is a better option than a refreshing, cool mint margarita? This margarita recipe with a lemon twist is going to be your favorite drink this Ramadan.

Steps

  1.  Add Fresh mint leaves to a blender
  2. Add 2 Tbsp sugar ( you can adjust as per taste )
  3. Add 1 Tsp Kala namak
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon juice: 2-3 lemons ( bigger in size ) 4 lemons if the size is medium.
  5. A sip of water to get it rolling
  6. Add loads of crushed ice
