Fashion Face Off | Three Beauties Draping the Perfect Saree

fashion face off

We love how sarees made a huge comeback for winter weddings galore, as we saw a plethora of bedazzled, colorful, and sometimes simplistic designs. It’s great to see the various fashion trends that reinvented this classic silhouette repeatedly, yet some fashion styles stayed close to the original cut.

One such traditional yet not so ordinary saree that caught our eye is an intricate design by Farah Talib Aziz. A beaded halter blouse with detailed straps and a criss-cross back adds oomph to the plain teal silk drapery.

We’ve caught a few Pakistani celebrities adorning this saree, and we’re here to give you all the details. Let the fashion face-off commence!

Remember Kinza from Suno Chanda – the beloved Ramadan special series? Well, she knows how to dress as Mashal Khan pulls off this outfit for what seems like a mayoun. She makes the outfit look light and bubbly, with voluminous gajray, open straight hair, and minimal makeup.

Her million-dollar smile serves

as the perfect accessory to go along with the floral jewelry, and we love her effortless spin on the ensemble.

Lately, the Ansari family has been in the spotlight with two back-to-back weddings. Mariam Ansari poses alongside her husband at her brother Ali Ansari’s reception in this silk number. She takes us back to old Hollywood glam, with a deep side part, a 90s blow-dry, and the perfect pair of sunnies.

Her diamond choker and matching earrings add hints of silver sparkle through the outfit. The couple looks picture perfect in this ensemble, and we can’t help but keep looking.

Sona Memon

Our final contender in the fashion face-off is Sona Memon, a beloved fashionista known for setting fashion trends. She’s definitely going for a night-time look with dark kohl smudged eyes and a slicked-back high ponytail. Sona takes her saree up a notch with a chunky choker that pulls in the detailing from the straps.

Similarly, her white nail polish and delicate accessories mesh well to compliment the outfit. Overall, her style screams bold and beautiful, and this look is definitely an eye-catcher!

Final Verdict

While we hate to pick winners among our beautiful girls, there has to be one queen that takes the cake. This round goes to the gorgeous Mariam Ansari, who experiments with her look to create a distinct style statement compared to the run-of-the-mill wedding looks we see.

Something about her styling makes her look oh so powerful – she’s giving us boss-girl vibes (hint: Jackie Kennedy, anyone?)
