Pakistan’s favourite bhabhi and wife of former cricket Wasim Akram, Shaniera Akram has always been quite vocal about her “struggles” in all aspects of life, and fans all across the world love her for it. Now, the social media starlet has taken to her Instagram account to talk about her struggles as one half of an interracial couple:
Mrs.Akram mentions some comments she has been faced with in terms of her interracial marriage, such as “He only married her because she’s white. She must be easy!”
She continues, “Does his skin smell different? Why couldn’t he marry a Brown girl? It’s not natural for two skin colours to mix. Interracial relationships never work. What spell did she put on him? ”
She concludes, “Skin colour only troubles the people in this world who sees it. Like millions of others, We are living proof that colour means absolutely nothing, LOVE does.”
It would’ve been commendable if Shaniera could also acknowledge her skin colour, and how she can never relate to her life being endangered because of her skin colour, and how because of her skin colour, the worst she will ever have to deal with is some harsh words and only words.
