With the lockdown in Karachi, several people were concerned about the survival of the daily wagers in the city. Although the Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, had vowed to give millions of ration bags to the daily wagers, Anoushey Ashraf and Nomi Ansari decided to do what they can to give back to the people and help out during this time of crisis.
They reached out to people for help with donations and put together 550 ration bags in only 2 days.
It’s heartening to see that the fashion industry and the celebs are helping out in whatever way they can. It’s time to be inspired and follow in their footsteps. Do what you can to help those in need.
