According to studies, homemade masks can help slow the spread of COVID-19

Studies show that with 80% mask usage, we can stop a virus pandemic almost immediately. Take action now to save lives!Masks can be made at home. We don’t necessarily need medical grade masks so let’s leave them for doctors and hospitals. A scarf or bandana is fine, or make a mask out of a handkerchief.

Governments of Japan, Singapore, HongKong, Indonesia, Israel, the Czech Republic, Austria, Philippines, Ukraine, South Korea have made face masks mandatory in public and they were able to control the spread of the virus very quickly. Countries with mask laws have 100x lower COVID-19 rates than other countries.

The #Masks4All movement was started as a grassroots movement in the Czech Republic. In a matter of 3 days, almost 100% of citizens were wearing homemade masks. The rise of #Masks4All led the Czech Republic government to make it mandatory for citizens to wear masks in public.

When we don’t have symptoms, in the early stages of infection, is when we’re most infectious. If you go out without a mask, you might kill someone. You wouldn’t even know it. If you see someone out without a mask, they could kill you.

“If everybody [wears homemade masks], we’re protecting each other.” Simple DIY masks could help flatten the curve. We should all wear them in public.

#Masks4All started the movement for people and Governments to listen to the overwhelming scientific evidence that masks limit COVID-19 spread.

We can’t wait for our government to take these steps, we will have to take things into our own hands. We know this is possible, because the Czech Republic did it last month. In that country, people went from 0% mask use to nearly 100% mask use in three days. Then the government followed and made it the law.
