While some of us are just getting frustrated of being cooped up in our houses – there are some out there who are truly struggling. Mental Health Assistance

Umang is Pakistan’s very own 24/7 mental health helpline accessible totally FREE OF COST. They care about your well being and want to improve the lives of those with mental illnesses. So if you’re feeling depressed, getting panic attacks or can feel your mental health deteriorate, give them a call.

Rozan

Timings: Monday-Sunday, 10am – 8pm

Rozan Helpline is a free service where you will be connected to trained psychologists. So if you’re feeling anxious or need to vent, pick up the phone and give them a call.

Aman TeleHealth

Helplines: 9123 (mobile) 111-11-9123 (landline)
Timings: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 6pm.

If you’re someone who has been affected by COVID-19, be you a healthcare professional, someone who has been diagnosed with the virus, or know someone who needs emotional support because of any sort of impact you have endured due to the virus, Aman TeleHealth has partnered with the Pakistan Society for Excellence in Psychology to help you.

Madadgaar

Timings: 24/7

Thier toll free helpline number is accessible 24/7 for women experiencing violence and people who want to report Gender Based Violence in their vicinity. Operators will guide the survivors in need of immediate help towards means of prevention, provide information on in-house and referral services available for them and encourage them to visit Madadgaar to seek comprehensive support.

There’s another thing, this organisation exists to ensure that you don’t even have to call the counsellors, they will call you. You can go their website, madadgaar.org and fill out a simple form, and they will call you.

Whether you’re facing domestic abuse, or child abuse, Dastak provides shelter and support to both women and children. They will provide you legal support as well as shelter.

Bedari

Helpline: 0300-5251717
Timings: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

This is an NGO which is known for their work towards protecting women and children. On top of providing emotional support, they also offer legal support, counselling and help towards your admittance to shelter homes.
