Adnan Siddiqui Vows to Give Women Writers the Chance to Create Good Content

Adnan Siddiqui keeps giving us more reasons to love him.

The actor, who starred as the antagonist in super hit drama serial ‘Mere Pass Tum Ho’, finally breaks his silence on the controversy surrounding writer Khalil Ur Rehman’s, at times, absurd dialogues and portrayal of women. Siddiqui posted the following statement on his Instagram account:

Not only has the stellar actor admitted to MPTH being problematic in it’s dialogues and portrayal of women, he also vows to provide a platform for female writers to thrive and create good content with his own production company, Cereal Entertainment. (Is neighbour Monti going to call out Siddiqui too, like he did Rehmat Ajmal by calling her thankless?)

We are glad at least ONE of the lead actors of the show has stepped forward and taken some responsibility for the content they produce. We wonder if Humayun Saeed and Ayeza Khan will follow suit. We cannot wait to see the brilliance Cereal Entertainment will produce with it’s female writers and wish them God speed.
