Everyone’s favourite pirate and our personal celebrity crush Johnny Depp, has finally joined Instagram and we couldn’t be more ecstatic.

The legendary actor made a series of posts on his Instagram account on Friday, talking about unity at a trying time like this. Some outlets also believe he may have thrown a little shade at his ex-wife Amber Heard, too:

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s post marks his first venture into the world of social media, and his account quickly racked up more than 2.8m followers.

After telling people to “stay safe” and “stay inside” because of Coronavirus, Depp shared a message that seemed to hint at his ongoing legal battles with his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

“I am touched beyond words.”

The actor is suing his ex-wife for $50 million, after denying accusations that he physically abused her.
