A recent live between best friends Hania Aamir and Aima Baig gave a few shock revelations to fans when Hania mentioned that’s she’s not dating Asim Azhar and that they are just best friends.
A video from this live session has been making the rounds on social media and has fans all shocked as the people that everyone thought of as “the cute couple” are now “just friends” The conversation started as a fan asked Hania if she’s still with Asim azhar. To which Hania says, “He’s asking if we’re still together. We’re friends, we’re not together, we’re not dating, we’re not a couple. But we are best friends.”
To which Aima Baig looks surprised saying “ye tou mujhe bhi nahi pata tha (even I didn’t know about this).”
Hania responds by saying “No no listen, actually, we’re great friends. We’re there for each other and I even played a part in his video.”
Despite all the uncalled for trolling that Hania Aamir has been subjected to since this video started making rounds – we have a few questions. A little birdie told us that the two were dating for 2 years. So does this video of Hania mean that the lovebirds are no longer together? Or is it an attempt to refute the fact that the two dated for two years?
Let’s take a walk down memory lane and see why her words have everyone so confused about their “relationship” that turned into “friendship”:
Remember when Asim Azhar serenaded Hania Amir as she walked the ramp for Zainab Chottani’s showcase at Fashion Week in Karachi? We sure do. The way he looked at her as he sang those heartfelt lyrics, or when she lovingly brushed her hand on her face as she walked back? Ah!

And what really comes to mind is when Asim Azhar made it evident that the two were in fact “a thing”. He was asked on an interview with BBC about his relationship with Hania Aamir, he responded with “You see my heart beating really fast?”
He goes on to talk about her in a loving manner. So, there is little doubt that the two were a couple.
Then she dropped another bombshell on her future plans when she mentioned that she’s doing a song and is going to make him help her with it. And Hania again reiterated “But as far as relationships and ‘are you together?’ is concerned, I’m not with anyone.” “Her boyfriend is her work these days,” throws in Aima Baig towards the end, to which Hania says, “My work these days and myself these days.”
Looks like Asim Azhar has been pushed back into the friendzone but it’s nice to see that the two have managed to put their friendship above all else. We wish the two a whole lot of love.
