Despite all the efforts of a fraction of society to halt the Aurat March, it went ahead anyway with thousands of women that drove out of their homes, onto the streets with posters and placards demanding their rights. What was also heartening to see is the way that men also came out to support women in their demand for equal rights on Women’s Day.
