From Farah in Pyarey Afzal to Mahwish in Meray Pass Tum Ho and now, Seher in Thora Sa Haq, we bring you the best drama performances by Ayeza Khan that have made her everyone’s favourite:
Adhuri Aurat
This has to be one of Ayeza Khan’s best performances. Ayeza Khan had played the role of Maryam in this drama who was a very educated and innocent girl who believed in Eastern traditions, family and cultural values but was met with the harsh realities of this world after her marriage with Umair. Let us give you a little snippet of the show with this dialogue “Jab Farz Ada Karna Ka Waqt Tha To Tum Kaha Thay”. Now brace yourself for a slightly cliched but extremely well executed performance by Ayeza Khan.
Pyarey Afzal
The drama’s script was written by everyone’s favorite (is he, really?) Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar. The story was about deep love and it wouldn’t be wrong to call it our modern day version of Laila Majnoo and Heer Ranjha. Brace yourself because Ayeza Khan in the last episode, will have you in tears yourself.
Tum Kon Piya
This story of unrequited love put Ayeza Khan on the map. This was her first drama since her return to the world of acting after her marriage. From her killer looks, to her wardrobe, the delivery of dialogues and even the background music – this show will give you all the feels. Also, her chemistry with Imran Abbas on screen is a must watch!
Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai
After the huge success of the drama series “Tum Kon Piya,” Ayeza Khan appeared on this drama with a very different look along with Shehzad Sheikh and Imran Abbas. This drama was also written by a legendary writer Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar and was directed by Farooq Rind. Although Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hei was not directed well but Ayeza Khan’s performance and the emotions in this drama were always on point. Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hei made the viewers cry and its tragic ending took the viewers by surprise. This was Ayeza Khan’s most memorable performance and hence one of those Ayeza Khan drama which should definitely not be missed.
Meray Pass Tum Ho
And of course, the stellar tv show that made every Saturday feel like a “watch the tv together” family event. From being sold out in tickets in cinemas across Pakistan for the last episode, and the transformation of Ayeza Khan in the show as a greedy, materialistic woman to one who repents all her life for the mistakes she’s made – every dialogue, look and expression struck a chord with all of her fans. And we must say, this show strengthened our belief in her acting skills even more now.
If you see her in these roles once, trust us, you’ll understand why Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to bring her on for one of her projects – she’s a stellar actress through and through!
