Kisi ne sawal kiya tha mujhse keh ap ab drama kyu nai likhtay hain? Meine kaha koi nai likh raha. Meine kaha Ashfaq sahib nai likhrahay, Bano Qudsia nai likhrai hain…” He continued, ” Wo kehne lagin, yeh sab toh margaye hain! Meine kaha ye apne sath drama leygaye hain. Ab drama nai hai.”

The veteran also added that times have changed and with time so have audiences tastes, before his son cuts him off and proceeds to change the subject.
