This Eid was certainly different from those we’ve experienced in the past. The pandemic coupled with the horrifying and devastating plane crash a few days before Eid – lessened the excitement that usually surrounds this rather joyful occasion. However, this Eid did bring something exciting into the life of Anoushey Ashraf.
Anoushey shared a video message from her Turkish friend Murat who had called her while hanging out with the main lead of the Turkish drama, Ertugrul, Engin Altan. The men wanted to convey Eid greetings but she was unable to attend the call because her phone was on silent mode.
