Our Favourite Leading Ladies Pulling Off Sarees Beautifully

While there’s nothing more graceful than the humble shalwar kameez and all the versions of it, a gorgeous Saree is the next best things. From the way it accentuates a woman’s curves to the way the draping tells a story of it’s own, a Saree is something almost everyone can pull off but not everyone can pull it off as perfectly as our favourite leading ladies. Have a look for yourselves:

Mahira Khan

This ombre Menahel and Mehreen Saree screams old school glamour and the mimimal makeup and accessories let the Saree take centre stage.

Hania Aamir

This lilac Nomi Ansari number shines on Hania Aamir. We wish the length was slightly longer so her platforms were not visible but everything  else (especially that low back) is on fire!

Mahnoor Baloch

Only the evergreen Mahnoor Baloch could look this flawless in this peacock toned Menahel and Mehreen saree.

Ayesha Omar

The ‘Bulbulay’ actress takes a risk with this Lulusar candy striped, puff sleeved combo and it pays off in a major way. Iconic.

Maya Ali

How elegant does Maya Ali look at her brother’s Reception? There’s nothing like an all white saree,  especially when it’s by Faiza Saqlain.

Hareem Farooq

We’ve rarely seen this beauty in a saree but boy can she pull it off like a seasoned pro!

Ayeza Khan

Retro waves and a bottle green belted Saree? Yes please!

Humaima Malick

A classic gold saree is a must have in every girl’s wardrobe and Miss Malick shows us exactly why. We’re drooling over this one by Umer Sohail.

Sonya Hussyn

The talented actress looks white hot in this ivory number and we adore the ruffles! Way to put a quirky twist to a classic silhouette.
