SAZGAR Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) and GWM (Great Wall Motor)’s strategic partnership since 2022 has made remarkable progress with the brand Haval. The Haval H6 and H6 HEV, followed by the Haval Jolion in the locally assembled lineup have successfully become a popular choice among the industry. SAZGAR has now officially launched their 4th Haval vehicle, called the Jolion HEV. This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that an auto manufacturer has not one but TWO locally assembled hybrid vehicles.
The Jolion HEV comes with a 1.5L hybrid engine that produces 190HP and 375Nm of Torque. Add on top some of the most advanced safety/convenience features and you have a powerhouse of a vehicle. Some of these exceptional features include L2 Autonomous Driving, Head-Up Display, Adaptive Cruise Control, Ventilated Seats, and so on. The Jolion HEV is priced at PKR 9,295,000/- and is available with a delivery time period of 2 to 3 months. The booking amount is PKR 180,000/-.
Recently, SAZGAR also introduced two new GWM vehicles to the market. GWM Ora 03, a 100% electric hatchback, and GWM Tank 500, a 2.0 liter Hybrid vehicle. These units for now are CBU (completely built units). With this, SAZGAR currently has the biggest NEV (new energy vehicles) lineup in the country. SAZGAR’s electric three-wheelers have also been exported to many countries in the past 12 months, making it a well-rounded and NEV-centric company.
A grand launch event for the Haval Jolion HEV was held by SAZGAR recently, celebrating the momentous occasion with attendees ranging from the senior management, GWM representatives, officers, dealership representatives, and factory workers. Awards based on performances and merit were presented to the employees, with key words of encouragement from the management.
