Pakistan has become the first country outside China to assemble the Tank 500 PHEV, reflecting increasing investor confidence in the local market and reinforcing Pakistan’s potential as a regional manufacturing hub.

High-Level Ceremony Marks Major Automotive Milestone:

The announcement was made at a ceremony attended by the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (Minister of State) for Industries & Production Division and His Excellency Mr. Sun Yan, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China. Their presence underscored the strengthening economic cooperation between Pakistan and China.

CKD Assembly Supports Industrial Growth and Localization:

The CKD rollout aligns with Pakistan’s vision to promote localization, technology transfer, and industrial development. The initiative is expected to contribute to economic growth, enhance manufacturing capabilities, and support employment opportunities within the automotive sector.

 

GWM Strengthens Its SUV Market Presence in Pakistan:

Over the past five years, GWM has established a strong foothold in Pakistan’s SUV market through its partnership with Sazgar. The introduction of globally recognized models such as the HAVAL H6 has further strengthened the company’s market presence.
