Our National tourism ambassador “Imran Khan” inspires yet another venture: Batoota.pk

There’s no doubt that our Prime Minister, Mr. Imran Khan has uplifted the image of our country like no other. Mr. Khan, on several occasions globally has expressed that his country has everything to make it a great tourism destination.

Speaking at the World Government Summit, Mr. Khan claimed that Pakistan has the best tourism potential. However, he emphasized on the need of boosting the industry by all means as Pakistan, in
spite of having all the attractions of nature, hadn’t been able to use the full potential of the industry.

The Prime Minister said that the government was doing its best to develop tourism in Pakistan
and they have begun with easing visa regulations. This inspirational thought became the basic ideology of the CEO of a newly launched travel company – Batoota.pk, Mr. Talha Gadit. Mr. Gadit, at the launching ceremony of Batoota.pk that took place last Friday, September 20 at Movenpick Hotel Karachi, expressed his dedicated and sincere thoughts behind the venture as a means to promote Pakistani tourism at a global level.

The event showcased the potential and motives of Batoota.pk. It promises to be one stop shop when it comes to travelling, very soon, Batoota.pk will be offering online booking facilities for tours, cars rentals and flights among many other travel related services. Purpose of this phase wise approach is to ensure that Batoota acquires the operational excellence in each phase before moving to next phase so quality of services for customers won’t get compromised. This shows the level of maturity with which this startup has started its journey.

During the launching ceremony, a number of well recognized government officials and celebrities showed up to share their support and interest towards the company’s motives. The Chief guest of the event was Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig Sr. V. President, FPCCI along with several guests of honours including Mr. Ishtiaq Baig, Consul General of Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Khairul Nazar Abd Rahman, Consul General Malaysia and Mr. Totok Prianamto, Consul General Indonesia; Mr.Nguyen Hong Tien, Consul General Vietnam, and Pakistani politician and MPA, Mr. Shahzad Qureshi.

Experts think tourism in Pakistan has an immense potential due to its diverse culture, beautiful sights and unique heritage. However, in order to boost the tourism industry, government of Pakistan has been keen to implement framework of development and incentivize private sector funding for the upgradation and development of new provisions which would motivate tourism in Pakistan.
