Gold plated jewellery looks just as good as pure gold jewellery and is available everywhere for quarter of the price point! There is, however, a drawback. Gold plated jewellery is quick to tarnish and turn an awful shade of black. But fret not, we’ve found a solution to make all your gold plated beauties look as good as new. Here’s what you need:
Water
Baking Soda
Lemon
Mix one part water with three parts baking soda and the juice of half a lemon to form a paste. Rub the mixture on whatever jewellery needs sprucing and make sure it’s fully covered in the paste. Leave it on for ten minutes and wash off. Repeat the process until you’re satisfied with the results.
