Like all of us, the royals too love a nickname. Reportedly, Prince Phillip refers to the Queen as “cabbage”. Cabbage? While we might not be able to make sense of the nickname, we bet there’s a whole lot of love behind it. Prince William reportedly refers to Duchess Kate as “poppet” and she in turn refers to him as “babe”. And looks like pet names run in the family with the Sussexes following suit. Last year during the documentary about their tour of southern Africa, Meghan revealed that she calls Prince Harry “H,” and it’s been rumored that Meghan often goes by Meg. Wondering how the lovely couple refer to their adorable son?

This week, the royal couple shared a new nickname for their 1-year-old son Archie. To mark their son’s first birthday on the 6th of May, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared a sweet video of the Duchess reading Archie one of his favorite books: Duck! Rabbit! by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. The video was shared on the Save With Stories Instagram account, a campaign from the charity Save the Children, which provides support for kids in need.

During the clip, shot by the loving father and husband, Prince Harry, Meghan can be heard calling Archie “Arch.” But that’s not his only nickname. Baby Archie has been called “Bubba” by the loving parents before on several occasions.
