Wedding festivities kick off with parties these days but those who like to keep things traditional, opt for a mayoun event instead. As per tradition, the bride opts for a yellow jora- be it a shalwar kameez, gharara or lehnga. It is customarily celebrated in the bride’s house where she’s adorned with colourful bangles, floral jewellery and henna all around.
