The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) have registered a case against Ducky Bhai for reckless driving, negligence, and overspeeding. The video, which quickly circulated on social media, depicted him driving at speeds exceeding 200 kilometers per hour. He had his feet on the steering wheel and eyes closed, simulating sleep. This act not only violated traffic laws but also endangered the lives of other road users.
In response to the public outcry, the NHMP confirmed that the video had been geo-located and verified. It led to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) at Laksian Police Station in Sargodha. It was under Section 279 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which pertains to rash driving on public ways.
The NHMP has also released a video message on their official social media platforms, highlighting the dangers of such stunts and warning others against imitating similar behavior. They emphasized that no one is above the law and that popularity does not grant individuals the right to disregard traffic regulations.
