The 25-year-old model, influencer, and actor is set to create history at the Mr. International 2024 competition in Bangkok, Thailand. With the weight of representing an entire nation resting on his shoulders, Ahmed embraces this challenge with excitement rather than nerves.
“Being the first male contestant from Pakistan at Mr. International is such a huge honor,” Ahmed shares. “But with that comes the responsibility of setting the benchmark for future participants. I’m not nervous, though – I’m more excited than ever to showcase Pakistan on such a global platform.”
Ahmed’s journey into the world of modeling and acting was anything but conventional. Coming from a family of doctors, his career choice stood out. “I always felt my energy belonged in front of the camera,” he explains. Diverging from traditional paths, Ahmed chose to follow his passion for the arts, shaping him into the individual he is today. “I hope to inspire others to break away from societal expectations and pursue what genuinely excites them.”
The road to Mr. International has been both challenging and rewarding for Ahmed. At the heart of Ahmed’s mission is a desire to shine a spotlight on Pakistan’s vast, often overlooked talent. “Pakistan is rich with creative talent, especially in the arts. There’s so much potential that goes unnoticed, and I want to represent that talent on the global stage,” he says. Whether it’s actors, singers, or artists, Ahmed is dedicated to giving these young creators the platform they deserve through his participation in this competition.
A significant part of Ahmed’s influence comes from his active social media presence. “Social media plays a critical role in shaping perceptions of Pakistani models and actors globally. It breaks down barriers and gives us a chance to showcase our work and culture to the world,” he explains. By staying true to Pakistan’s roots while adapting to global trends, Ahmed believes that Pakistani talent can navigate the entertainment industry and make their mark.
Beyond his career, Ahmed is also deeply committed to philanthropy. He has worked with underprivileged children at Dar-ul-Sakoon and organized a women’s empowerment summit with the Women’s Chamber of Commerce. “Giving back is essential. I want to use my platform to inspire others to make a meaningful impact in their communities,” he says.
