Legendary writer, host, and actor Anwar Maqsood joined his son Bilal Maqsood of Strings in an Instagram live session recently. Fans were overjoyed to be given the opportunity to speak to the veteran of the industry and fired question after question at him.

One question asked was why the celebrated writer no longer writes for television, to which he said, ‘Meine ap logo keliye pachpan baras likha hai. Kisi ne sawal kiya tha mujhse keh ap ab drama kyu nai likhtay hain? Meine kaha koi nai likh raha. Meine kaha Ashfaq sahib nai likhrahay, Bano Qudsia nai likhrai hain…” He continued, ” Wo kehne lagin, yeh sab toh margaye hain! Meine kaha ye apne sath drama leygaye hain. Ab drama nai hai.”

The veteran also added that times have changed and with time so have audiences tastes, before his son cuts him off and proceeds to change the subject.
