Special Children’s Educational Institute (SCEI) presents a unique exhibition of furnishings upholstered with hand painted fabric and a variety of fun and functional pieces for your home made by students with special needs to coincide with the UN International Day for Persons with Disabilities. The concept is to embrace our differences and imperfections and not allow them to jade our lives but rather to find the joy and beauty in everyday life and think outside the box.
The pieces include hand painted chairs, trunks and couches furnished and designed by the children at SCEI with the help of their teachers. Children with physical disability to those who suffer from autism have contributed to making these items. A truly great initiative and idea, one we all should appreciate and check out at the Grandeur Art Gallery on Zamzama, Karachi between 5pm-8pm happening till the 5th of December 2015.
