The Cake: My most challenging cake was a Neverland cake, made with chocolate, red velvet, vanilla and lemon flavors.
The Prep Time: It took approximately 60 hours!
The Cake: This is the sixlbs.four layered Twix cake that I made for the cake competition at the Karachi Eat Festival a few months ago. The theme was Karachi, and all the bakers had to incorporate into their cake what they loved about the city.
The Prep Time: Almost 8-9 hours. The rickshaw, tomb of Quaid-e-Azam and other design elements were all hand crafted on fondant and homemade.
The Cake: Our most elaborate cake was a corporate order we did for Shell. The entire cake was in red velvet.
The Prep Time: It was for the Shell-Lego collaboration launch.We were given 48 hours to pull of a giant replica of their Shell.
The Cake: This cake was for kids birthday. The flavor was devils food cake with oeey-gooey triple chocolate Dairy Milk fudge, and chunks.
The Prep Time: I made the cake in a day, as it needed to be super moist and fresh. However the characters took a week and a half to do! I spent hours on each individual character; the detail work included getting the expressions, colors, body and size just right.
The Cake: It was for a childâ€™s first birthday and the theme was Disney World. The cake had a bunch of different flavors: Triple Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Toblerone, Caramel Crunch, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Peaches and Cream, Lindtt Chocolate Truffle Cake, Coffee Toffee Mousse and Madeira Cake!!!
The Prep Time: This cake was constructed over a period of three days. We make all our sponges fresh, so the first two days my team and I spent making all the characters. By the end of it, I wanted to kill Mickey Mouse! The cake featured the famous Disney World castle, Mickey and his friends, along with scenes from classic fairy-tales. The lantern scene from Tangled was printed for the backdrop, which looked fantastic!
The Cake: This three-tier wedding cake with handmade red roses can be made in a variety of flavors, our most popular being double chocolate, blueberry and classic vanilla
The Prep Time: We require a 48 hour notice.
The Cake: This was a Frozen themed cake, made with double chocolate and a chocolate ganache center for the bottom tier, and vanilla with a lemon syrup and a raspberry buttercream for the top tier.
The Prep Time: Most of the decorations, like the snowflakes and trees, took a week to make and dry out. The cake itself was assembled over 2 days and dusted with a pearl lustre dust.
The Cake: This Alice in Wonderland cake was in 3 different flavors: triple chocolate fudge, red velvet and caramel crunch. We baked the sponges and layers of the cake a day ahead because it needs to cool before you start the fondant work.
The Prep Time: The decoration of this particular cake took about 2 hours, and 3 people worked on it at the same time.
The Cake: We made a Bumblebee Transformers cake, and the client went absolutely crazy when he saw it!
The Prep Time: About 5 hours.
The Cake: This cake is called The Gardens of Qurtuba, and has hand crafted and hand painted roses in full bloom dressing three layers of moist orange sponge covered in a rich, slightly dark, chocolate ganache. The cake was a major success; all the guests requested that it not be cut, but preserved.
The Prep Time: It took me over 7 hours to paint this cake and craft the gum paste roses.
