Playing Dress Up with Amene

This new loungewear brand has been the talk of the town in Lahore! See how Rimmel Mohydin, Eimaan Jawwad and Mehek Rizvi style up their versatile pieces:

This winter sky slip dress can easily double as evening wear, with pointed suede heels and a chunky statement necklace for an instant makeover. The cut of the dress leaves you with a lot of room to customize it for any occasion with accessories, jackets or even pants. And the best part is you can just kick off your shoes and go straight to bed when you get home, it’s that comfortable!

Bed-to-office chic? I paired this super soft top with straight-cut grey pants to neutralize it’s brightness. Black loafers round off an outfit I would definitely wear to work, and not just because I would get to stay in pajamas all day.

I tucked in the peach Hermosa camisole into my go-to jeans for a summery, day-time look. Nude heels and reflective aviators make this outfit edgy, yet feminine. I love how I can work this camisole with a variety of bottoms. In this case, the breezy flow of the silk sets up an interesting contrast with the rawness of the ripped denim.

Lahore Correspondent, HELLO!

I dressed this orchid petal shirt by pairing it with a pearl choker and one of my favourite staples – my black flared pants. I love knotting my tops at the waist as that always adds oomph to any look.

Fatima advised me to wear this silk pajama set, and who can argue with a trend that favours comfort? While I may have liked to style this outfit slightly differently in retrospect, I absolutely love the colour and design of the sweet pea pink top and matching bottoms, and the Valliyan earrings I paired them with!

I decided to have fun with my look in these Hermosa jogger pants. The rich teal off the shoulder top and white sneakers did the trick. I finished the look by half-tying my hair into a ponytail and adding fun tassel earrings.

Loungewear can easily be dressed up or down. For the first look, I chose this primrose top, accompanied with denim bottoms and white sneakers. My go-to accessories are traditional, antique pieces as I did with my green necklace which has been passed on to me over the generations. Add some sunnies and tie a hair knot for a casual look – you’re ready for a fab day out!

This all white look topped with a fucshia embroidered kimono is breathable and very à la mode. I chose the orange strappy heels for the contrast and left my hair unkempt.

I wore this chevron top and pajamas with a simple tank top and pointy stilettos, and my hair swept to one side. The Outhouse necklace added the extra yet simple oomph that this outfit required to make it an easy transition to an evening look.
