Day 1: This was by far the hardest workout we ever did or did it feel that way after the weekend? No, no I know for sure those pop squats I have never done and they made me cry and when Khadija says burn… Man she means burn! So spider man push ups which do make you feel like spider man sets of 3, 30 seconds each and rest of 20 seconds. Then severe burn out of the bicep and tricep 20 second sets with 15 second breaks. All was ok till the last cardio session, let’s just say driving home was an ordeal. Although later for dinner I discovered a cauliflower based pizza crust so a good end to a very very painful workout!
Day 2: All day it was the same kind of pain that I felt the 1st week and going up the stairs was a real problem. Acting all natural in front of my staff was hard and with an event at the store, being the dignified boss, I was limping around in L’atelier all day. Abs and cardio day wasn’t easy either we did sets of killer abs hitting the obliques in every angle possible 30 seconds sets with mountain climbers for 20seconds and rest of 20 seconds. That rest really doesn’t feel like a rest! It’s amazing how one gets addicted to this sweet pain and with all the compliments coming my way I am more motivated than ever !! At least till the weekend surely (palm in face)!
Never looked skinnier! Thank you team 180 Degrees!!
Day 3: So today the term it’s raining cats and dogs was given a new meaning by Islamabad rain! It rained trucks and buckets as if giant faucets have been turned on in the sky. Waiting waiting and the Facebook page finally gets an update by team 180 Degree that the workout is on! Oh God I am not brave enough to workout in this weather I have been sneezing non stop and just can’t risk getting sick. So I stay home and now feeling so guilty, its a weird kind of mixed emotion guilt and relief of not being out in this cold! No cheating on the food front though! Pat on the back!
Day 4: Oh God, the guilt. Totally feeling terrible Family Commitments equal No bootcamp (sad face). One thing I could change if I had a choice would be the timings of the bootcamp, alas it’s not in my hands. And clearly the music is not very happening after reading the updates by my fellow bootcampers. Team 180 Degrees enough is enough we want you guys back here in isloo. Khadija is really holding the fort well but there is only so much she can do, and we miss you OJ and Natasha get back!
Day 5: Killer weights workout once again! Biceps and triceps killed in so many different ways and the cardio sets at the end seemed endless. My little one Ayaan was so curious about mama’sbootcamp that he had decided to come with me. And I think he realized what a mistake he had made just 15 minutes into the workout but he was a very good sport he kept going till the very end! Exhausted, dead tired but oh! So so worth it!
Day 6: End of the week. FINALLY!
Obliques and abs feel like they are going to die along with mountain climbers and so many cardio moves. I am tired and after such a workout it feels like your six pack would be totally visible. It really makes me wonder how much these celebrities must train and how careful they must be in their diets. Looking good is not easy at all its a lot of hard work and patience and clean eating habits and oh yes vitamins must not forget our vitamins.
Day 7: I really feel this is the hardest day of the week. I mean a Sunday that usually used to be my cheat day in my life before the bootcamp! Now it’s a holiday only with cleansing juice and protein shakes (sad, sad face). I have one of each and thats it had to eat and oh God the guilt is unbelievable, but I ate again! Can’t do only juice and protein shakes and that too on a Sunday:( Sorry team 180 Degrees...
Stay tuned for Sarah’s next week progress as she continues the challenge. GO SARAH!
