WHO NAILS THE LOOK AND WHO GETS IT WRONG, WRONG, WRONG? THIS WEEK, WE TAKE A LOOK AT BOHO CHIC IMAN HABIB ATTENDING THE SHOP OPENING OF RANO’S HEIRLOOMS. THE JUDGES HAVE DECIDED AND THE VERDICT IS IN!

“The ‘less is more’ rule applies here in this elegant and simple look. However, I would have loved to see some length to the outfit. I feel Iman could have worn wedges to give her ensemble some height. I love the earrings and the pushed back hair, which really draws attention to the well chosen, classic accessories.”

“This is an interesting look to review. I’ve always liked the idea of cotton gharara’s, and Iman is wearing a lovely printed one. However, I do wish there was some element of colour and some structure in this whole look to make it more contemporary. Also, the makeup and hair is very basic, and so her lovely eyes and long hair are not as accentuated as they could have been.”

“I love the pulled-back hair and desi earrings with this Eastern ensemble. The cut and colour of the kameez is lovely, and the shawl draped over the shoulders creates a comfy, wintery look.”

“I love everything about this. It is pure relaxed old school elegance. I always appreciate understated style. The mix of the different textiles in white and cream with earthy tones printed and embroidered on it come together beautifully to create this look. I am a traditionalist and therefore all the elements of this ensemble are rocking my boat, from the pashmina to the block print gharara.”
