When did your journey as a fitness trainer begin?

At the age of 14 I started hitting the gym with my dad. I initially gained a lot of mass and realized I was too short for it, and so I researched nutrition all my life until I got into med school at age 21. When I met Nusrat, we made our own home workouts and cooked up healthy and ab-worthy desi food, which is what sparked the idea of sharing our knowledge with others.

Which is your favourite exercise?

A compound exercise of renegade rows with push-ups and squat. They work your triceps, shoulders, chest, upper back, glutes, quads, hamstrings and lower back.

Your go-to cheat meal:

Where to start? From the crab gratin at Xanders, to the mussels in butter sauce at Okra, and from the gelato at Cote Roti to mutton karahi from Salateen – my list is never ending!
