Boys, it’s about time you take some style points from those who aren’t afraid to mix it up. this week, The uber cool Umar Khan shows us his versatile sense of style. From street chic to suited and booted, this cool cat knows how to change up his look.
The most important look for any man to master is the attitude ofeffortlessly wearing a well tailored suit. To create the right dapper look, I slicked back my long hair in a neat man bun, added some colour with apocket square from Karma by Maheen Kardar and l let the whole look speak for itself.
To have passion for hobbies is a trend statement in itself. Be free and feel free, and it will show in your dress sense as well. Ripped skinnies from Bershka, a casual black t-shirt and my closet staple black Vans create a tough yet comfortable look for a skateboarder. I added a plaid shirt for an extra grunge effect.
TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL
Being an undergrad student is no excuse to not look trendy for school. An everyday look for me means a tailored button down shirt, a messy bun and some casual kicks. These Zara suspenders bring quirkiness to an everyday classroom look, and why not pair it with a Harvard Visconti messenger bag to seal the deal.
THE DESI TOUCH
You’re not a true Pakistani if you can’t pull of a traditional look like this. Add some classy elements to the classic shalwar kameez by throwing on peshawari sandals, a tailored waistcoat and a subtle yet trendy watch.
A basic white tee and my go-to Nike kicks are never too bourgeois a statement for an everyday look, which complete my look when I’m in photographer mode. You can always add some colour to your outfit by going with a more statement pair of sneakers, but you can never go wrong with a classic white pair.
INTO THE WOODS
Maybe it’s the hair, but I was definitely bringing out my inner wild child here. No need to shy out when you’re taking a break up North! Being comfortable and warm is the key to kick a look for the cold. Ripped jeans, an oversized knitted sweater and loose hair give off a more raw and earthy vibe.
BOYS NIGHT OUTÂ
You don’t need girls to make your night memorable! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the ladies, but dudes in dapper suits and the right attitude bring class to any party. A partner in crime (in my case, my little bro Usman) is all you need to have a night to remember.
